Sean has a long and successful, strategic leadership track record in the outsourced catering and facilities management industry, primarily in Healthcare (NHS & Private sector). He is ‘down to earth’ and has a considered approach which lends itself well to his preferred style of leading by coaching and empowering others. Sean offers a wide range of operational and business improvement leadership and is comfortable from front line to Board. His love of and participation in team sport, means he brings a competitive edge to the workplace, driving long lasting and credible improvement by leveraging his extensive operational experience, and applying lean six sigma methodology.
Sean’s specific area of focus is Change Management & Transformation through Operational Excellence, working with organisations to improve operational performance and deliver efficiencies.
He is well versed in contributing to teams in an evolving business environment having experienced this numerous times in his career and particularly enjoys the challenges this brings. With regards digital transformation Sean has been in senior, strategic level and operational roles in businesses that evolved from pen and paper legacy systems to digital IWFM, fully automated procurement and stock / goods ordering systems, digital meal ordering and menu planning software and helpdesk deployments.
He has played an active role in designing product specifications for various systems and experienced the highs (and lows!) of deploying and upgrading these types of technology into large and diverse workforces.
