Simon Tupper

Consultant

Simon has worked in the Catering Industry for nearly 40 years, working at some of the country’s leading sporting and events, managing their catering and hospitality. Over the last 20 years he has been running one of the Midlands’ leading contract catering companies, specialising in Schools, FE and further education catering provision.

To support his operational food and beverage management experience, Simon graduated from Aston University with an MBA, Masters in Business and Administration, and has both Royal Institute of Public Health and Hygiene and Advanced Environmental Health Officer Food Hygiene diplomas.

“Having worked in the catering industry all of my working life and with a strong academic record, I love working with The Litmus Partnership. It allows me to bring a number of different skills and experiences together in a way that ensures I can really add value to my client’s business. Working with an independent catering contractor provides the freedom to ‘make a difference’ and not be constrained within a large or inflexible organisation.’’

Simon has also been a  school governor and therefore has an excellent insight into the internal workings of the education system.

Simon has good experience managing the end-to-end competitive tender process, enabling clients to achieve ‘best value’ in terms of both the financial and operational performance of the contractor.

The consistent focus throughout Simon’s career has been achieving excellence in customer satisfaction and improving business profitability.
