Litmus in the news November 2023

We’ve had a busy few months speaking to the media around various topics and trends we’re seeing.

Contract Catering (August 2023)

Joe Parfitt, our Education Consultancy Director, provided comments for a School Food feature where he talked around the increase in pupils in England, the opportunity around growing participation, how much revenue this would bring in, and the importance of good quality to ensure take-up of school meals. Hospital Food & Service (Sept/Oct 2023)

Mike Iddon, Managing Director of our Retail division, appeared in a sustainability feature, where he is quoted talking about the benefits of NHS Trusts working with producers within their local area, including increased seasonality on menus and better pack sizes, and the collective buying power of the NHS and how this could be utilised via a centralised buying group. Care Home Catering (Autumn 2023)

Terry Wyldes, Head of Asset Management at LitmusFM, appeared in an energy saving feature titled ‘Every Little Helps’. He talks about Care England’s warnings around the soaring heating bills care homes are facing and how care homes can maintain kitchen equipment, PPM and FMR and the benefits this approach brings, and how important it is that equipment meets current UK compliance standards and legislation. OOH (November 2023) 

Mike Iddon also appeared in OOH magazine, in a full-page advertorial dedicated to Consumer Insight, where he talks about how cafes and eateries can use Consumer Insight to engage with their customers and understand what they need to do in order to make changes to improve their offering.
