Litmus Volunteer at Treloar School and College for disabled young people

Last week, some of our team headed to Treloar School and College for disabled young people, to volunteer our time to help tidy up the outdoor garden area.

Treloar’s provides education, care, therapy, medical support and independence training to young people with physical disabilities, with some also living with sensory impairments, communication difficulties or learning disabilities.

Supporting organisations and charities within our community is a key part of our values and Treloar’s is a school we have been connected with for many years. Lael Panter, our Office & HR Manager, shared: “The staff and students at Treloar’s are inspirational in how they deal with the challenges they face every day. As any company would be, we are very proud to be associated with Treloar’s and look forward to when we have the next opportunity to volunteer and help out.”

Andy Brown, the Corporate Partnerships Manager at Treloar’s, says: “Thank you to the Litmus Partnership for spending time volunteering in our greenhouse, potting plants, and then clearing weeds from our rose bushes. Everything you did made a big difference to us here at Treloar’s. It was great to spend the day with the team, getting to know more about your business and how we can work together in the future.”

The day was part of our pre-launch of the Litmus Haven Fund – a soon-to-be-announced initiative that will enable us to work on a deeper level with charitable and special needs organisations.
