Triple Marathon Run for Litmus’ Kyla Whitefoot!

With marathon season upon us, we’re very pleased to say we have our very own Litmus marathon extraordinaire – Kyla Whitefoot; our longest serving employee.

Kyla is not running one but THREE marathons this spring, raising money for MS-UK, the national charity dedicated to empowering people with multiple sclerosis. We’re proud to say that we are giving our support and sponsoring her costs for these marathons.

Kyla completed the first leg of her triple marathon run in Manchester last week on Sunday 7th April, achieving her third fastest time ever despite twisting her knee in an unexpected pothole on a busy bend.

She is then taking on the capital’s marathon this coming weekend on Sunday 28 April (where she aims to finish without injury, unlike last time), and then the St Illtyds Ultra Marathon, Wales, on 5th May.

All financial donations are welcomed, visit Kyla’s Just Giving page here.

Well done Kyla, everyone at Litmus is very proud of you!

***Update 29th April***

Two down, one to go! Kyla completed the London Marathon on Sunday, bettering her Manchester time by several minutes. No time to rest though as the St Illtyds Ultra Marathon is this weekend! Go Kyla!

Here’s Kyla smiling after crossing the finish line in London.

***Update 8th May***

Last weekend, Kyla completed the third and final spring challenge to raise money for MS-UK, the St Illtyds Ultra Marathon, a challenging run across 50km of hills! The views at the top were well worth the effort though and Kyla exceeded her own expectations by completing the run in well under 9 hours.

There’s still time to sponsor Kyla for her incredible feat and raise money for a good cause, you can do so by using this link: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/kylawhitefoot

Well done Kyla!
