Overwhelmed by asset management requirements?

For those of you in the education sector, you’ll be aware that earlier this year the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) published the annual Academies Financial Handbook (AFH) 2019 – which outlines the financial management requirements that Schools within Academy Trusts must adhere to.

One of the changes to the AFH this year was that Trusts are now being encouraged to consider estates management as part of their budget planning. For many Trusts this may be an area that hasn’t had much attention before. Couple this with some Academies having a lot of pressure on their budget – it is understandable that some may feel overwhelmed with this task.

We have helped hundreds of education establishments manage their assets, such as kitchen equipment, building infrastructure, IT, M&E maintenance – anything that keeps the Academy running essentially. It’s something we specialise in.

Having a sound asset management programme in place will ensure an Academy gets the best commercial, social and environmental solution for any given function. Our aim is to reduce wasteful processes and inefficiencies in asset design which in turn will save money and reduce unpredictable costs. It can make a significant difference to the bottom line.
