John Brownless, Partner at LitmusFM – our specialist Facilities Management division – has been upgraded to Certified-level membership in the Institute of Workplace Management (IWFM), the pioneering body for workplace and facilities management professionals.
In order to be awarded this, professionals need to meet various criteria including:
- Holding a senior position for a number of years;
- Holding a relevant qualification at Level 6 or above or Charted Membership of a relevant professional body;
- Demonstrate knowledge, skills and experience in a number of competencies including risk management, quality management and business organisation; and
- Show in-depth knowledge of core areas such as procurement, contracts and contract management, property and building services maintenance and legislation codes, directive and regulatory issues amongst others.
