Joe Parfitt – Education Consultancy Director
Background
Joe began his career managing university halls of residence for the London School of Economics. Building on his education knowledge, he moved into consultancy for a specialist independent school catering and facilities consultancy before joining Litmus in 2012. During this time, Joe has worked extensively across multiple sectors and consultancy disciplines and now turns his focus on leading our education consultancy business.
Independent schools remain the field in which Joe specialises and he has worked for some of the UK’s leading independent schools. His evidence-based, collaborative approach to achieving best value has helped clients make decisions that deliver sustainable service improvements and enduring client-supplier relationships.
Strategy & Performance
- Provide strategic direction within the education business to consultants and the central Litmus team.
- Identify opportunities to support clients affected by financial, operational and compliance challenges, and provide solutions that work.
- Chart a growth strategy for our education business, delivering sustainable growth without compromising the Litmus reputation for independence, integrity and rigour.
- Measure our success across a range of performance objectives.
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure that projects are assigned to consultants who are best qualified and experienced to deliver the work.
- Develop consultancy solutions that comply with changing legislation and provide an audit trail of this compliance to protect our own, and our clients’, reputations.
- Monitor and report on the performance of consultancy services to ensure internal compliance with best practice.
People & Culture
- To promote a team culture within Litmus, sharing credit for success and addressing challenges collectively without fear of blame.
- Collaborate and co-ordinate with our diverse Litmus teams, to ensure we work together towards our shared goals.
- Nurture a client-focused approach to our work, both in processes and output, recognising the importance of open dialogue with clients for building long-term relationships.
