Litmus in the news – August 2022

Quite a few of the Litmus team have been featured in the media over the past couple of months. In case you haven’t seen, below is a round-up of some of the articles:

Hospital Food & Service magazine (July/August 2022 issue)

Mike Iddon, Partner at Litmus Retail, was included in a feature which looked at breakfast and morning goods, sharing thoughts on how hospitals can ensure they are offering patients a good selection of food choices at breakfast. He also looked at the benefits of implementing a pre-order tech solution which can help encourage staff to buy their breakfast on-site, rather than head to a café or coffee shop on the way to work, help to reduce food waste and minimise queues:

Campus Estate Management website (July 2022)

Karl Cundill, Partner at LitmusFM, had a thought leadership article published where he looked at the topic of ‘estate management in the hybrid era’. With hybrid learning having a significant impact on how university facilities are used, Karl looked into what Facilities Management teams should be looking for within their estates strategy and how they can adapt their plans to ensure their facilities are fit for the future:

School Caterer magazine (Summer issue)

Joe Parfitt, Managing Partner – Education at Litmus Partnership, shared his thoughts on the importance of the school catering service operating in a way that enables service to be speedy, as many schools feed hundreds of students every lunchtime. Grab & go food options are a popular choice and mean caterers can get creative and innovative with their food offering and also divert some traffic away from the main dining area by setting up pop-up stations elsewhere in the school:
