We’re pleased to announce that Matt Garner has joined the LitmusFM team as Senior Consultant.
Matt is joining our Facilities Management division at a time of high-growth, with the business doubling revenue in the past 12 months alone.
Bringing with him over 30 years’ experience in the Construction and Facilities Management industries, Matt is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and a Chartered Building Surveyor.
Over the last 10 years Matt has held Executive Leadership roles in Facilities Management service providers, leading operational and support teams delivering IFM, TFM and Catering Services across the UK & Ireland. Clients and market sectors included PFI/PPP projects, Multi-Academy Trusts, Individual Schools, Universities, Manufacturing, and the Ministry of Justice. Matt had overall responsibility for teams of up to 2200 people, delivering services to over 250 sites with an annual turnover peaking at around £150m.

Prior to operational leadership Matt spent 20 years delivering capital projects managing the design and construction of refurbishment, new build and lifecycle works across a wide variety of commercial property portfolios. Significant projects included Integrated Pathology Partnerships, Leonardo Helicopters, Sodexo’s Head Office Rationalisation, London 2012 Olympics, Defence Training Review, DVLA Swansea estate rationalisation and DWP’s transformational JobCentre Plus project.
PFI and PPP has been a part of Matt’s career since the late 90’s. Whilst at Telereal Trillium Matt led the design & construction of new and refurbished accommodation within and extending the outsourced property portfolios of the DVLA and DWP. At Sodexo Matt had responsibility for the Education PFI portfolio across the UK & Ireland where his team successfully bid, won, operated, retained, and occasionally exited PFI and PPP projects.
