Litmus’ Vince Pearson is taking on The Clipper Race

Our Non-Executive Director Vince Pearson is joining the renowned Clipper Race at the end of April and sailing until the end of July, all with the aim of raising funds for two charities.

The Clipper Race is a biennial race that takes amateur crews on one or more legs of a circumnavigation of the globe, led by professional skippers. Vince will be sailing on ‘Imagine Your Korea’, one of the 11 identical seventy foot long racing boats.

His voyage starts on 29th April, where he will depart Seattle, racing to Panama, then onto Bermuda, New York and Londonderry and then finally onto London. In total, he will be at sea for around 65 days in what will be a personal first for Vince.

Vince is raising money for two charities – hospitality industry charity Springboard, which supports unemployed people to improve their skills and job prospects and also Norfolk Community Foundation, which supports youth mental health in the Norfolk area, which is where Vince is from. He aims to raise a total of £15,000, which will be an incredible achievement.

We’ll be sharing pictures and videos during May, June and July of Vince’s adventures on our social channels. You can find us on Twitter @LitmusSolutions and on Linkedin.

For anyone who would like to donate money, which all goes straight to the charities, you can do so here: www.justgiving.com/campaign/Sail4Recovery

Good luck Vince – we can’t wait to hear all about it!
