Litmus in the news

We’ve been busy speaking with the media and contributing to various articles over the past few months.

Here is a snapshot:

Mike Neales, Senior Consultant here at Litmus, who specialises in the education sector, had an op-ed article appear on The Educator website, based around how schools can increase the ‘spend on plate’ without increasing the meal cost. Have a read here

In Independent Schools magazine, April issue, our work with Marlborough College was featured in a full-page article. Tim Cookson, Chair here at Litmus, brought to life how Litmus has helped Marlborough College modernise its in-house catering operation and the results the College has seen. Then, in Hospital Food & Service magazine, May/June issue, Mark Kassapian, Managing Director of our Retail division, had comments features in a ‘plant-based’ feature. Mark talked about how caterers should start with the basics, such as non-dairy milks and plant-based cakes, and then build the range from there, the importance of trialling dishes before they go on the menu, sourcing samples from suppliers and how personalisation is a key trend. Mark also featured in TUCO magazine, June issue, where his comments were included in a ‘Street Food’ feature. Mark talked about the consumer expectations on drink options, how these present a strong upsell opportunity, and suggested drinks such as sweet and salty lassis to pair with Indian street food.
