Mini Series Part 1: The new Procurement Act 2023

The Government have announced this week that the Procurement Act 2023 will come into effect on 24th February 2025.

This means that tender processes commencing after this date are subject to the new law, which will have a significant impact on those working in public procurement.

Although these is a lot of change on the horizon, there are also benefits that the new Procurement Act will bring, including being more inclusive for small businesses and suppliers entering the market. This diversification of the market means organisations running a tender will be opened up to all suppliers, giving them much better access to new or alternative sources of goods or services, as well as the opportunity to achieve better prices or terms.

There is a lot for everyone to get their heads around, and so we’re running a free Procurement Act webinar on 2nd October at 10am, hosted by our Consultants, together with our legal partners, to help public sector bodies navigate the revised rules.
