One of our Partners, John Brownless, is a proud Ambassador and Volunteer for charity Prostate Cancer UK. Having personally been affected by prostate cancer, John has raised £60k over the years with various fundraising activity. This March he is taking part in the charity’s ‘March the Month’ initiative.
This will see him hit 11,000 steps a day throughout March, in a bid to raise vital funds for the charity which will go towards lifesaving research to help stop prostate cancer damaging bodies and lives. Prostate cancer kills one man every 45 minutes and the problem is growing; by 2030 it’s set to be the most common cancer in the UK.
Not only this but getting out walking (especially during lockdown) helps stay both physically and mentally healthy, enjoy the brighter spring weather and discover new local areas.
We’re all behind you John and think the work you do for Prostate Cancer UK is fantastic! To donate to the cause you can visit here
