Litmus in the News

Our team of experts have been contributing to various media articles in recent weeks, commenting on issues and topics that are affecting the sector. In case you’d like to read them, here is a round-up:

Senior Consultant at Litmus, Mike Neales, features in a full-page article in Public Sector Catering magazine, June issue, where he calls for more catering innovation in the education sector and how this can be achieved in a challenging climate. You can view the article here

Mark Kassapian, Managing Director of Litmus Retail, featured twice in Garden Centre Catering magazine, summer issue. One article was a full-page Q&A style interview with Mark, where he answered questions around how garden centres can drive revenue, are operating efficiently and about the services he offers.

He then also contributes to a feature on the topic of ‘free from’ food, where he talks about how free from products allow caterers to focus on just one menu that everybody can eat and help drive maximum revenue and how free from products have developed over the years in terms of taste and quality. You can view both articles here and here.

Karl Cundill, Joint Managing Director of our specialist Facilities Management division, Litmus FM, contributed a full-page thought leadership article for Facilities Management Journal magazine, July issue. In the article, Karl talks about how Building Management Systems (BMS) need to be utilised properly in order for organisations to be as energy efficient as possible, the importance of having properly skilled people on the team, how the BMS system works, how to keep it updated alongside changes to the facilities and tech innovations such as remote-controlled monitoring. You can view it here.

Our Senior Consultant, Kate Gould, appeared in HEFMA Pulse magazine, July/August issue, in a cleaning and maintenance feature. She comments on methods teams should deploy to make the cleaning and maintenance routines as efficient as possible, how to establish a monitoring and assessment system to avoid a build-up of pathogens and the importance of staff training.
