We’re attending the ISBA Annual Conference 2022

We’re excited to be exhibiting at ISBA’s annual conference in Birmingham on 17th and 18th May.

ISBA – the Independent Schools’ Bursars Association – will bring together over 500 of the independent education sector’s leading experts, including bursars and senior management staff, at their annual conference.

We’ve been providing education catering and facilities management consultancy within the independent education sector for over 30 years. It’s one of the first sectors we started in and are very proud of our track record, having worked with many prestigious establishments.

Our team – including Joe Parfitt, the Managing Partner of our Education division – will be on stand number 5, sharing more on our service offering including ‘collaborative contracting’.

What is collaborative contracting? Well, when outsourcing catering services, schools often adopt a conventional approach: contractor show-round, tender response and presentation. Whilst efficient, the process seldom affords companies enough time to really understand a school’s character and then tailor their bid. The ‘collaborative contracting’ approach looks at how schools can work with their service providers in a way that is less transactional, and more focused on achieving well-defined and shared objectives; transparency and trust; and incentivising success.

At Litmus, we believe a more collaborative approach to contracting could transform outsourcing in independent schools.

If you’re going to be there, we’d love to welcome you for a coffee and chat with us.
