This newly created position will lead the growth of Litmus Partnership’s leading purchase to pay, kitchen and catering management system “Litmus Edge” and associated support services, currently being targeted across the state education sector:
This role will be responsible for developing the opportunity pipeline and driving the sales for Litmus Edge.
Working closely alongside the Litmus Partnership Business Development Team and Head of Marketing and Communications, the role will also have a very close working relationship with the Head of Operations for Litmus Edge.
You will need to demonstrate the following:
· Proven experience of catering sales and procurement within the education sector
· Natural passion for food, foodservice, sustainability and procurement initiatives
· Knowledge and ability to sell a ‘system as a service’
· Self-starter, proactive and driven approach, with hunger and ambition to take ownership of the Litmus Edge sales process
· Experience in working with wider Business Development and Marketing teams to drive the ongoing development of the Sales and Marketing strategy
· Proactive and tenacious with the drive to convert opportunities (supported by Telesales Team)
· Natural consultative and relationship sales ability
· Experience of presenting to business leaders and decision makers
· An engaging communicator, a natural at building long-term relationships
· Positive about contributing to a wider winning team
Ideally, you will have:
· Experience within state education catering sales and better still, Multi-Academy Trusts (MAT), with a strong understanding of how this sector operates
· An operational background within the sector
· A purchasing/procurement background or strong understanding of this
Salary: £50-60k, in line with experience (inclusive of car allowance)
OTE: £100k, increasing as opportunity pipeline grows
Report to: Maria Palmer, Head of Operations – Litmus Edge
Location: Field-based, regularly plugging in to Head Office, Camberley, Surrey
