Places of education are not just classrooms, lecture theatres, libraries and laboratories; often they are where students sleep, eat and live. They are a home away from home. Both staff and students will all feel varying levels of apprehension around returning post-pandemic and will rightly expect that measures are in place that not only reassure them it’s safe to return, but ensure it is genuinely safe to return.
